Kiki's Hope For Youth (KHFY) will offer young girls and their families a place to turn when their struggles reach a breaking point. The staff will work with parent or guardians and the girls, on a voluntary basis, to resolve their conflict so that they can come through the critical time of adolescence stronger better able to address whatever difficulties they face.
The immediate goal of Kiki's Hope For Youth is to provide a cooling off period for the girls and parents while avoiding the danger of life on the streets
The long-term goal is to encourage each girl and her family to re-establish positive communication, and wherever possible, to work toward reunification. When reunification cannot be achieved, the staff will work to create another desirable option, including perhaps, residence with another family members.

Kiki's Hope For Youth is a highly structured environment that supports positive influences and discourages negative distractions. Kiki's Hope For Youth will be a therapeutic setting where educational clinical, recreational, and provide professional guidance, promote positive choices, and motivate personal growth.
The group home will operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Girls will stay at the group home as long as they need the care and services. This will be determined by their caseworker.
Power of Hope supports the emotional well-being of young people. Through transformational empowerment camps that use arts-based activities and foster inclusion and community, youth are uplifted and supported to express their authentic selves and connect to their potential.

The director will be a full employee responsible for overseeing the operations of the group home. The director will be responsible for:
•Case management duties including intake and assessment.
•Meeting with parents and other family members, and discharge planning.
•Working with community providers to assure access to counseling, medical and other needed services.
•Building working relationships with the police and other who refer to Kiki's Hope For Youth.
•The director must have at least three years of relevant experience in school social work, school guidance counseling or related field. Previous experience working with adolescent girl is required.
•The director will be on call twenty-four hours a day, seven day a week, and keep a flexible and rotating schedule.
Residential coordinators will assist will all aspects of group home life including:
•Organizing daily weekend activities for the girls inside and outside of the house.
•Creating opportunities for the girls involvement in the running of the house, cooking, shopping, gardening etc.
•Assisting with homework and project.
•Working through issues that come up as part of daily life, encouragement to the girls.
•The residential coordinators will work either full or part time at the group home
The Direct Care Worker will be hired to work at group home. They will be responsible for maintaining the daily living routine at Kiki's Hope For Youth. They will be a combination of full-time and part-time employees.
Each Direct Care Worker should have one evening off per week, one weekend off per month and two of vacation time per year.
The direct care worker will be responsible for
•Ensuring the safety of the girls.
•Handling emergencies.
•Overseeing schedules, job homework, and counseling for the girls and their families.
•Assuring that the girls have adequate clothes, needed medical and dental care, haircuts and personal hygiene supplies.
•Grocery shopping, cooking cleaning gardening.
The direct care workers will be involved in school activities, mealtime conversation, and other activities that are a part of life at the group home.
